"And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. -" Romans 5:2-5
- What suffering have you experienced that has produced perseverance, character, and hope?
Hopping and living from one family/relative to another when I was at a very young age (because of a broken family). Having to experience such plight at a tender age taught me so many things about life.
- What was the evidence of your spiritual growth?
- Have you ever been brought to tears over God's goodness and favor? Describe the circumstances.
Several times. A lot of those times were I watched a sermon about God's goodness and love. My heart got so overwhelmed with how huge His love is for me that my puny heart cannot contain it, I burst into tears. Some other times, I just felt His goodness out of nowhere. Same thing happens—that feeling of being overwhelmed.
